The Sunbury/Big Walnut Area Chamber of Commerce is growing in activity, in size, and in influence. We are a team of business, professional and community people working hard to improve the business climate and the quality of life in our area.

The Chamber serves as a catalyst through which people work together for a better community. Collectively, we are able to accomplish activities which no one member can do alone.

The Chamber office is located in the Myers Inn Museum at 45 S. Columbus Street on the historic Sunbury Square. 

Our office hours are Monday - Thursday, 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.

Our Mission Statement:

The mission of the Sunbury/Big Walnut Area Chamber of Commerce

is to foster, support and promote the business environment in our community.

The purpose o four Chamber is to provide the members an opportunity to pool their resources to continually improve the enviromnent for conducting business in the area.

We will strive to accomplish this by:

  • Encouraging the development of a local infrastructure that will support existing and new businesses.
  • Promoting the area to prospective new businesses.
  • Providing a structure for local businesses to identify their mutual needs, and collectively work to satisfy them.
  • Cooperating with local government to provide, through zoning codes, practice and services, an environment that is consistent and encouraging to orderly business development in the community.
  • Organizing and supporting civic activities for the benefit of community residents and to enhance the relationship between the Sunbury/Big Walnut Area residents and business community.
